Ms. Knapp is a Senior Advisor of Corsair. She joined Corsair in 2001 and is based in New York.
Ms. Knapp was formerly a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer of Corsair. She previously had leadership responsibilities for the firm’s finance, legal, compliance, human talent, investor relations, information technology and office management functions. Ms. Knapp also served as Corsair’s Chief Financial Officer for a number of years. Prior to joining Corsair, Ms. Knapp was an Associate with J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., where she was involved with the firm’s role as sponsor of the first two Corsair funds raised. Previously, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the firm’s capital markets audit and assurance practice.
Ms. Knapp is a certified public accountant, holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University at Albany, SUNY and an M.B.A. from the New York University Stern School of Business. She is a board member of The University at Albany Foundation, serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board for The University at Albany, SUNY’s School of Business, and a member of the NY Women’s Forum.
